The Grimm’s Small Colour Circle Goethe is a set of 24 colourful wooden blocks in a 16cm wooden circle frame with the blocks being 0.7cm thick. The colours range on an extended spectrum from red through to purple, there are 8 different colours in total. The blocks come in 3 different sizes and range from 4 sided, curved blocks to 3 sided, curved triangles.
The curved shapes are extremely tactile and inviting to play with. This is a great Waldorf inspired wooden puzzle toy for both problem-solving skills and for building imagination as you and your child discover what different pictures, shapes or figures can be made from just 24 wooden blocks. It can be used as a table game for both children and adults, and would be a great travel game too.
This eco puzzle would be just as well suited to a Montessori school or nursery as it would a Steiner Waldorf setting, but it would also be just as suited to your home. It is a fantastic open ended toy which will encourage open ended play.
